BOARD SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

A. Call To Order/Roll Call

Meeting called to order at 12:03 p.m. by President Davis.

Present: Jack Berger, Director/Vice President

Tom Crimmins, Director

Linda Davis, Director/President

Richard Fairhurst, Director/Secretary

Maimie Moore, Director

Staff Present: Phil Boyd, District Engineer (12:07)

Mike Galante, District Manager

Visitors: Mike Ormsby – Preston|Gates|Ellis

B. Agenda Items:

1. Special Session – Staff

Mike Ormsby, Preston|Gates|Ellis – firm does most public financial work in north Idaho and eastern Washington. Represents several water districts in eastern Washington; NKWD would be largest water district client in north Idaho.

Two attorneys will service NKWD – Laura Mc Aloon and Mike Ormsby, plus staff.

Covington’s files must be transferred to Ormsby by 10/31/06 and Covington will bill through Ormsby.

Reviewed status of action list items.
