North Kootenai Water District

 

Resolution # 2005-01

 

 

A RESOLUTION DECLARING THAT AN ELECTION WILL NOT BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 1, 2005, AND APPOINTING ELECTION APPLICANTS TO THE VACANT BOARD POSITIONS.

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the North Kootenai Water District, that,

 

WHEREAS, the District published a legal notice of election filing dates on December 11th and

December 18th, 2004, and;

 

WHEREAS, the District received a total of two valid applications for the two vacant positions by the legal deadline of December 27, 2004, and;

 

WHEREAS, the District did not receive any applications for write in candidates for the two vacant positions by the legal deadline of January 7, 2005;

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the North Kootenai Water District declare that an election for two vacant positions on the board will not be held on February 1, 2005, and;

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the two applicants hereby be appointed to the vacant Board positions as follows:

 

1)       Thomas Crimmins, 12662 N. Avondale Loop, Hayden ID 83835 – term to expire in 2007.

2)       Richard Fairhurst, 8396 Westview Drive, Coeur d’Alene ID 83815 – term to expire in 2011.
